All products are refined sugar, and brown sugar free. The snacks that we carry are sweetened with natural occurring sugars in the ingredients, and with molasses, honey, maple, Gula Melaka (coconut palm sugar), and erythritol.
Erythritol is a natural sugar alcohol found in plants containing 0 calories and 0 glycemic index (doesn’t raise blood glucose), and is 60-80% the sweetness of table sugar. This can be a great alternative for diabetics, when taken in moderation.

You may find traces of erythritol naturally occuring in fruits like watermelon, pear and grapes, and also in mushrooms and fermented foods like cheese, wine, beer and sake.

Erythritol may come with certain side effects. Sugar alcohols like erythritol have gotten a bad reputation for digestive issues, especially in
children. A common side effect is diarrhea. Also, foods with erythritol may have a slight bitter/metallic aftertaste.
